Biography:

Bert Rademakers was born in 1964. After a degree in Microbiology/botanical at University of Wageningen in 1987, he became a teacher until 1991 at the Mushrooms School in Horst. He started as a mushroom grower of Agaricus Mushrooms in 1991 by building a new farm in Hedel and testing mother spawn for Somycel, Amycel and International Spawn (later Sylvan). In 2000, he started with a new company “Fungi 2000” for developing bulk sterilization technique for producing substrate for Lignivore Mushrooms. Since 2005, Bert is the director and shareholder of CNC Exotic mushrooms, a European leading substrate producing company.
