Biography:
Carles Díaz Tarragó was born in Barcelona in October 9th, 1961. He got his MSc in Biology at the University of Barcelona, where he also worked as a researcher in the Department of Vegetal Psychology from 1985 until 1987. He joined Lainco S.A. in 1987 as a research manager, overseeing new developments for this producer and seller of pesticides. From 1997 until 2008, he was an entrepreneur, manager of Bolet Ben Fet, industrial producer of exotic mushrooms. Today he is the director of Teb Verd sccl, a corporative enterprise that employs disabled people in its production of exotic mushrooms on sterilized substrate.
