Biography:
Torsten Jonas is a graduate from the University of Hamburg, Biology (1995). From 1997 until 2003 he founded and managed the Shiitake farm Mykonos S.A. in Guatemala, C.A. He joined Pilzgarten GmbH in 2003 and founded the substrate plant BioMycoTec GmbH in 2010. Today he is owner and CEO of BioMycoTec and Pilzgarten producing sawdust based sterile substrate for mushroom growers and organic mushrooms for the fresh market.
